Wheel-thrown stoneware bowl finished in a translucent slip and lined with a soft celadon glaze. Fired for 110 hours in the Pleasant Hill anagama wood kiln, where the long burn builds the depth you see here: an iron-rich, speckled rim gives way to pale concentric rings that pool toward a deep teal center, crazed like ice over still water. No two pieces from an anagama firing are alike — the flame, ash, and atmosphere leave their own record on every surface.
